About The Saturday Book Club
The Saturday Book Club is a warm, curious community that began in July 2022, founded by Lee Jia Li. Now, co-led together with Debbie Lee.
We gather to discuss non-fiction books and connect through special events from author sessions to anniversary celebrations. What began as a humble group of 4 has grown into a thriving community of over 3,000 in the community, united by our shared passion for learning and meaningful conversations.
Growth mindset
We believe in growing together through events that foster a growth mindset:
• Thoughtful non-fiction book discussions
• Inspiring author sessions
• Celebratory community gatherings
Personalised learning
Bring your own book (BYOB). Your growth is your own — read and recommend non-fiction books that truly interest you
Community driven
Whether you're new or have been with us from the start, there's always a place for you to learn, share, and belong.
100% Volunteer-Driven
Everything in TSBC is made possible by volunteers — we're grateful for every helping hand, and always welcome more to shape what’s next.
